I am so scared, Allah! Please help me.

Mama, don't be sad. Be proud of me. I am dying for our great god, Allah.

I wish I could have said goodbye, but I swore I wouldn't tell anybody. They clapped when I took the martyr's oath. They said I was Allah's chosen one. I was scared but proud and happy at the same time.

My Muslim leaders told me that when I get to heaven, I will learn how successful I was. They said Allah would have a big celebration in my honor. That is what I kept in my mind. I repeated verses from the Qur'an over and over to keep strong.

Now I leave you, Mama. Don't ever forget me. I love you. Allah be with me.

I shall now detonate the bomb and destroy the infidels for Allah. All hail, Allah!

What happened? Where am I? Why is it dark? I am so scared!

Allah—where are you? I did what you told me to do. I am a martyr. I killed the infidels.

Why is everything black? Help! I'm falling down a chute... falling... so fast... faster and faster!

 

Allah... Help me... Help me! I can't breath. It's so black… smoky... choking.

Something is stinging me, inside and out. Like fire ants. I can't seem to brush them off. Where are my hands!?!

 

I'm having a nightmare! I need to wake up! I'll close my eyes. Where are my eyes! Where is my body!?!

Help me Allah! Where are you? I'm falling, falling. When will I stop falling?

I'm smothering, choking. I'm so scared! Someone help me! What are those horrible shrieks? How will I get out of this pit?

 

There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet. Help! The heat! Allah, let me die!

Let me die, I want to die! Am I in Hell? Why?

There is a mistake! I did what you said in your sacred Qur'an. I killed the infidels in holy Jihad. I am one of your holy martyrs.
